Bernat Wines are estate grown and made by owner of the Los Olivos Wine Merchant & Café, Sam Marmorstein. The grapes are grown from his CCOF certified organic 4-acre family vineyard in Los Olivos, California. Sam uses old world methods of wine making that produce intensely flavored-earthy wine. The Bernat Syrah, Sangiovese, and Nebbiolo are each made with Patience, Trust, and Understanding. Patience to wait until the grape is ready to be harvested and the wine is ready to be bottled. Trust in nature and the Old World Methods of winemaking. Understanding of the needs of a specific terroir and the nurturing a wine needs to be great.
